Effects of ECO TRANS and Tap Water on Plant Growth
- 1. Research Institution: Simcheon Waterlife, Jinhaeng Waterway Research Institute
- 2. Experimental Comparison: ECO TRANS Water vs. Tap Water
-
ECO TRANS
Tap Water -
ECO TRANS
Tap Water
Experimental Results
- To examine the effects of ECO TRANS and tap water on plant growth, barley sprouts were cultivated and compared. The barley grown with ECO TRANS water showed darker green coloration and stronger stems compared to those grown with tap water.
- Since plants absorb nutrients through their roots, barley grown with ECO TRANS water developed larger roots and stronger stems due to the abundant minerals and zinc ions supplied.

Experimental Results
- To evaluate the effects of water on plant growth, six different types of water were used to cultivate soybean sprouts and radish sprouts. ECO TRANS showed the best results in plant growth, length, and germination rate.
- It was confirmed that ECO TRANS, with its weakly alkaline pH level (7.4–7.6), had the most positive effect on plant growth.

Experimental Results
- To evaluate the effects of water on human normal cell culture, six different types of water were separately cultured in human cells. ECO TRANS showed the most outstanding results in cell proliferation, cell survival rate, protein expression, and mitochondrial activity and DNA synthesis compared to the other samples.
